I’ve always been more interested in groups than individuals. Studying sociology taught me to look beyond individual behavior to see the relationships, structures, and dynamics that shape how people act together. That perspective influences how I approach design today.

I’ve worked across very different kinds of design. Working across learning, products, services, and strategy has changed how I think about design. The medium may change, but I keep coming back to the interactions between people, technology, and the systems around them.

I do my best work with other people. That’s true outside of work, too. I’d almost always rather start a group, make something together, or get people around an idea than do it alone. I like seeing what happens when different people bring something of their own to the same thing.
